Raising the turkeys is a joy for us because of the highly social and curious nature of the birds. The birds are rotationally grazed on the five-acre pasture, through which they roam as a flock pecking and snacking on grasshoppers and earthworms. The birds will mature to 15 to 20 pound birds and are sold for $4.50 per pound. The birds are processed locally at a FDA inspected facility. By early summer we will have a form available on our website for purchase of our free-range Thanksgiving turkeys. We will need a final head count by late July so that we can order the proper number of chicks.
